On May 25th 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will take effect. This EU wide data protection change imposes new rules on companies, government agencies, non profits and anybody that's offering goods and services to people across the EU.
It's the single most important compliance changed to affect e-commerce business owners so it's imperative that you have your e-commerce store set up correctly to make sure that you comply with in the regulation.
